四月　梯沽が紅色になる《小書：樹の高さは十余丈。花は木筆のように房状に生える。石榴・葵・萱草・金銭花・杜若・鳳仙花がいずれもこの月に開く》
鉄銭花が開く　甘露が芭蕉に見える《小書：芭蕉はこの月に初めて実を結ぶ。甘露と名づける》　山丹が炎を吐く
砂糖黍畑が熟す《小書：楊梅もこの月に熟す》　青瓜が出る　竹笋が林に伸び出す　蟷螂が
生まれる《小書：蜻蛉もこの月に生まれる》　蝉が鳴く　烏が子を養い恥じる　蚯蚓が出る　螻蟈が鳴く
鳥鳳が来る《小書：小鳥の名。また古哈魯という名の鳥もあり、この月に来る》

五月　刺牡丹が開く　右納花が咲く《小書：花は秋葵と異ならない。木の本は高さ三、四丈》　月橘の
花が咲く《小書：色は雪のように白く、香りは十里に聞こえる》　夏菊が開く《小書：茉莉・梔子・木蘭がいずれもこの月に開く》　蓮に花がある
莧菜が穂を出す　桃に実がある《小書：石榴もこの月に実る》　蕻菜が生える　豇豆が出る　草が
腐らずして蛍となる　颶母が時に怒る

六月　仏桑が空を焼く《小書：三月から冬まで開く。この月が最も盛ん》　掛蘭が香る《小書：蕙もこの月に花をつける》
桔梗の花　夬明が開く　稲がすべて場に登る　緑豆を収める　鹿が水に入り
魚となる《小書：沙魚が岸に躍り上がり鹿となる。鹿は暑さを恐れ、舌で水を舐める。また化して沙魚となる》

七月　木蘭が再び芳しくなる《小書：海棠・玉簪がいずれもこの月に開く》　棉花を収める　竜眼が円くなる
玄鳥が来る《小書：燕はこの月になって初めて来る》　寒蝉が鳴く　刀豆が出る《小書：糸瓜もこの月に出る》　野
菊が穂を出す《小書：中国の青蘘のようで、田中に満ちて生える》　毛魚が水中に陣を張る《小書：この月の朔前後五日と八月朔前後五日》

八月　木芙蓉の花《小書：桂もこの月に花をつける》　容蕋が至る《小書：鳥の名。また恨煞という名の鳥もあり、この

Bellflower blooms　Kuai-ming opens　All grain is brought to the threshing floor　Mung beans are harvested　Deer enter
water and become fish 《Note: Sand fish leap onto shore and transform into deer. Deer fear heat and lick water with their tongues. They also transform into sand fish》

Seventh Month: Magnolia is fragrant again 《Note: Crabapple and hosta both bloom in this month》　Cotton is harvested　Longan fruits become round
Black birds come 《Note: Swallows first come in this month》　Cold cicadas chirp　Sword beans emerge 《Note: Luffa also emerges in this month》　Wild
chrysanthemums put forth ears 《Note: Like Chinese qing-rang, growing abundantly throughout the fields》　Hairy fish form formations in water 《Note: Five days before and after the new moon of this month, and five days before and after the new moon of the eighth month》
