【右丁】
煙草は心を忘れさせる草と
歌に歌うとおり間違いなく、
ここから柳橋より
船に乗り、猪の木の船の
一番早いのがどうのこうのと話を
語りながら、周防の松の
あたりで立て駕籠の乗った
船に乗り抜けていけば、
重い駕籠取りが舵の塩梅か
船に障って立て駕籠が乗り去る。
船頭は松川といって年が
寄っても気の利いた奴で、
水の中を担いでものをする
少しも湿るという
ことなく船頭
仲間と言うに及ばず、
良質吟味にも
使われるほど
口が利くゆえ先の
