右之請取書取置申候猶又辰年は
酒売れ悪敷ニ付勘定割合ニ而金五
両横川村所右衛門江相渡申候昨巳年
六月当久蔵并所右衛門為懸合参り候
得共打続不景気ニ而酒造利徳無
之候ニ付年延之致無心候処承知も無之
当年ニ至度々懸合御座候得共不及
示談御出訴ニ相成何とも奉恐入候段

彼是之義ハ及理翁申年迄ハ立入

現代語訳
その受取書を保管しております。また辰年は酒が売れ行き悪く、勘定の割合で金5両を横川村の所右衛門に渡しました。昨年巳年6月に久蔵並びに所右衛門が交渉のため参りましたが、続けて不景気で酒造りの利益がないため、年延べを申し入れましたところ承知されず、当年に至り度々交渉がありましたが示談に至らず、訴訟となり、まことに恐縮に存じます旨申し上げます。
この訴状と答弁を聞きましたところ、双方が申すところの経緯等、あれこれの件については申年まで立入人が請け負って返済する方法について、趣旨は以下の通りです。
一 金200両 元金

The receipt for this has been kept. Furthermore, in the year of the Dragon (Tatsu), sake sales were poor, so 5 ryō was paid to Sozaemon of Yokokawa village according to the accounting arrangement. Last year in the sixth month of the year of the Snake (Mi), Kyūzō and Sozaemon came for negotiations, but due to continued economic hardship and no profit from sake brewing, they requested an extension of the payment deadline. However, this was not agreed to, and this year there have been repeated negotiations, but no settlement was reached, leading to this lawsuit. We deeply apologize for this situation.
Having heard both the complaint and the response, regarding the circumstances and various matters that both parties have stated, until the year of the Monkey (Saru), the mediators will guarantee the repayment method as follows:
One: 200 ryō in gold - Principal amount
From the 5th month of Ansei 2, year of the Rabbit
One: 71 ryō 2 bu in gold and To the 11th month of the current year of the Horse
10 monme in silver For 3 years and 7 months

At 10 percent per year
