【図の説明】
襪（ばつ）
　布製または革製の足袋で、短く踝より上まで。外向きの中央線で開口部があり、交差して結ぶ。足指の近くに別に一つの穴を作り、その指を草履の中に入れるためのものである。

靸（さつ）
　草履は細い席草で編み成し、前に一本の縄があって親指の間を通し、踵を引きずって歩く。男女ともに着用する。

　　儀従（ぎじゅう）
国和（こくわ）　開棍二人　刀二人　鎗二人　旗二人　合計五十人　緑紬傘　板輿二人が担ぐ《割注：外は倭緞と銅釘を用い、内は彩絵を加える。轎式は竹轎と皆同じ》

【Figure Descriptions】
Socks (Batsu)
　Made of cloth or leather, short socks reaching above the ankle. They have an opening along the outward center line that is crossed and tied. Near the toes, a separate hole is made to insert the toe into the sandals.

Sandals (Satsu)
　Sandals are woven from fine mat grass, with a cord in front that goes between the big toe, dragging the heel while walking. Both men and women wear them.

　　Ceremonial Attendants (Gijū)
Kokuwa: Two staff bearers, two sword bearers, two spear bearers, two flag bearers, totaling fifty people. Green silk umbrella. Carried by two bearers of board palanquin. 《Note: Exterior uses Japanese satin and copper nails, interior adds colored paintings. The palanquin style is the same as bamboo palanquins》

Hōshi Ōkyū (Legal Officer and Royal Uncle): Two red staff bearers, two red board bearers, two authentic Japanese sword bearers, two authentic Japanese spear bearers 《Note: Above the spears are large red woolen flags, about one shaku long and two sun wide》. Carried by two bearers of bamboo palanquin. Same below.

Shikin Taifū (Purple-Gold Minister): Two red staff bearers, two red board bearers, two imitation long Japanese spears, two authentic Japanese swords.
