段韓大いに呆れる
「人の滝登り、ハーア、アハハハ、初めて見る珍しいことよ。」
【右丁左上】
鞍馬の僧正坊現れ出て、力を添え給う。
「師匠殿、法衣がずっと御商売道具は、それは困らぬ、よやさのさ。」
【右丁左下】
「梅川なら三百両にやる所だが、紫裾御も剥げ擦ったから、値にならぬまいの。おっと静かに。」
【左丁】
それより義経主従は司馬段韓を案内者として奥蝦夷へ渡り給う所、段韓悪心にて、わざと道なき所を案内し、右門の滝という所へ連れ来たり。この滝を登らされば奥蝦夷へは渡り難しと教える。されども義経、天狗の弟子ゆえ、鞍馬の僧正坊現れ給い、力を添え給うゆえ、何の苦もなく義経主従、山猿の恋のごとく右門の滝を登り給う。
「体の濡れるは構わぬが、着物の濡れるが痛ましい。坊、大損だ。」

From there, Lord Yoshitsune and his followers, using Shiba Dankan as their guide, set out to cross into the interior of Ezo territory. However, Dankan, with evil intentions, deliberately guides them to a pathless place and leads them to a waterfall called Umon-no-taki. He tells them that if they try to climb this waterfall, it will be difficult to reach the interior of Ezo. However, since Yoshitsune is a disciple of the tengu, Kurama's Sojo-bo appears and lends his power, so without any difficulty, Yoshitsune and his followers climb Umon-no-taki like love-struck monkeys.
"Getting our bodies wet doesn't matter, but getting our clothes wet is painful. Monk, what a great loss!"
