右は当町の馬指としての御扶持米として下賜され、川下郷からの己巳年の御納米をもってお渡しくださり、謹んで受け取り申し上げます。
そのための証として、よって書面の通りです。

Until the 29th day of the 1st month of Uma year
A total of 177 days, large and small combined
The above rice has been graciously granted as stipend rice for serving as uma-sashi (horse guide) of this town, distributed using the tax rice from Kawashimo village for the year of Tsuchinoto-Mi, which I respectfully acknowledge receipt of.
As proof thereof, I hereby certify as follows.
