Item: The three-day [payment] for the honorable rope-driving (o-tsunauchi) submitted last month by a fellow officer — the honorable counter-seal (ura-han) on said document having been completed — was duly handed over to Kyūbei's office.

Item: Regarding the same as above — the honorable inspection document and the honorable thread/yarn payment certificate (ito-dai tegata) — formalities having been completed, [these] were handed over to the honorable net-drivers (o-amiuchi) from Kyūzaemon's office.

Item: Today, when summoned and attending upon Lord Jōzaemon, [we were instructed] that in connection with the [labor] allocation (wari), [a man named] Yasuzaemon — who had submitted a petition [to work as] a dyer (kon'ya) — should be heard and accepted by us. Kyūbei gave instructions, [Yasuzaemon] was summoned, and as [he] came accompanied by the former district head (saki-kunigashira), [Kyūbei] conveyed to [Yasuzaemon] that [he] may serve as village headman (shōya) at his own discretion.
Item: On the 10th, [being an] official business day (go-yō-bi), [the following] was submitted — as noted below.
