The above [workers], in connection with [materials] being brought into the honorable storehouse from the honorable weir (o-yana) at Benzaiten Riverbank (Benzaiten Kawara), [I] wish to receive [them] starting from the Hour of Five (itsutsu-doki, approximately 8 a.m.) on the 15th, tomorrow. Respectfully submitted. That is all.
Eleventh Month, 7th Day — Kyūemon [possibly Kuemon]
Memorandum
Honorable Attendants (o-chūgen): 2 men
The above, having been dispatched for five days for the official duty of inspecting procured timber (o-shiire zaimoku kenchi), [their service is hereby] acknowledged and submitted. That is all.
Eleventh Month, 14th Day — Kyūemon
Item: For the said inspection duty, [I] went out over two days, together with a colleague (dōyaku) and Kyūbee, bringing along one honorable attendant (o-chūgen).
Item: On the 14th, [for] the procurement of firewood (o-shiire maki) [sent] to Benzaiten Riverbank, [I] went out together with a colleague, Kyūbee, and one honorable attendant [up to] ■.
