文（ふみ）を請け取り、御家老中（おかろうじゅう）残らず、御用人中（おようにんじゅう）は御月番（おつきばん）へ相廻し候。御証文（ごしょうもん）は御箪笥（おたんす）へ入れ置き候。

The document was received and [circulated] to all of the senior councilors (o-karō-jū); for the attendants (o-yōnin-jū), it was passed to the monthly duty officer (o-tsuki-ban). The official document (go-shōmon) was placed in the honorable document chest (o-tansu).

As per the above dates, merchants and those who have petitioned for [the use of] the river (kawa-negai hōshi) are requested to bring their various tax payments (shō-unjō kin-sen) together with their seals (in-gyō), and to present themselves at Kōsaku's residence between the Hour of the Ox [approximately 10:00 a.m.] and the Hour of the Rooster [approximately 2:00 p.m.] (■■■). We humbly request that [you] be pleased to issue the appropriate orders. That is all.
