一姥ヶ懐の御簗（やな）、牛三疋分の丸太四十二本について、先月中に雪解け水が出た節に流失いたし候、この段、権左衛門殿へお届け申し上げ候。
一藤沢への商人目付、弥初村の五郎右衛門が病気につき願い出候。目付の差し許し申し候。この段申し上げ候。
追って、代わりの目付札を申し付け候べく、その節に名前の書き付けを差し出すべき旨、申し上げ候。

一御網の者が目が軽くなり候。御綱打への御沙汰があれば、私より申し上げる様にすべき旨、申し上げ置き候。
二十二日
一藤沢への札目付、的場村の利右衛門を今日呼び寄せ申し付け候。尤も村役人方へは例の通り、手紙・連名にて遣わし候。

One Regarding the fish weir (yana) at Ubagafutokoro: 42 logs worth [the load of] three oxen were lost in a flood during the snowmelt runoff last month. This matter was reported to Gonzaemon-dono.
One Regarding the merchant inspector (mejitsuke) dispatched to Fujisawa: Gorōemon of Yahatsu village submitted a petition due to illness. Permission for the inspector was granted. This matter was reported.
Furthermore, it was reported that a replacement inspector's identification tag will be assigned, and at that time, a written list of names should be submitted.
Same day
One A person of the御網 (net management) staff has become light-eyed [i.e., their eyesight has deteriorated/they have become careless]. It was noted that if there is an official directive regarding the御綱打 (net casting official), it should be reported through me.
22nd day
One Regarding the identification tag inspector (fudamejitsuke) dispatched to Fujisawa: Riemon of Matoba village was summoned today and given his instructions. A letter was sent jointly to the village officials as per usual practice.
