The above courier returned past the eighth hour on the 3rd day. Accordingly, a reply letter was brought in a plain wood document box, and it was immediately taken to Gonzaemon-dono and presented to him. He indicated that it would also be shown to fellow colleagues in office, that it would be retained, and returned at a later time.
