【左丁】  受取申度奉存候以上   三月十四日  久左衛門 十四日 一弥勒村紺屋与右衛門只今迄藍  瓶四ツ之所今春ゟ五ッに致度  候之由願書差出候所条左衛門殿  迄差上則承届申付候様ニ  相済申候則平兵衛方へ申遣候 同 一四日市場紺屋徳右衛門不勝手ニ付  黒沢村善左衛門と申者へ諸道具  等売渡則跡善左衛門紺屋仕度  兵衛【?】差出条左衛門殿へ差出候所  願書之通承届候様ニ被仰付候  依之下手紙遣呼寄右之趣申  渡候 一喜多屋与右衛門中沢山材木川下に付  月々小手形印形取ニ罷越候依之  私共非番月之節ハ御役番ニ罷出候  御座候へ共右印形在宿仕候  得て相済候様に平次左衛門殿へ申達候  所委細被致承知候其段御月番へ  可被申達候由招拶御座候 十五日 一善八殿手紙申来ル明後十七日  御綱打両人早朝ゟ差出三昼八ツ  時分迄に罷帰候様に申付候様申  来候右之段両人へ申付候 十五日 一あめ四ツ   総平 一岩な壱つ 同 一御網岩鋳方弐御普請  方ゟ受取申候

【左丁】  受け取り申したく存じ奉り候。以上   三月十四日  久左衛門 十四日 一、弥勒村の紺屋与右衛門、これまで藍瓶四つのところ、今春より五つにいたしたき由、願書を差し出し候ところ、条左衛門殿まで差し上げ、則ち承り届け申し付け候様に相済み申し候。則ち平兵衛方へ申し遣わし候。 同日 一、四日市場の紺屋徳右衛門、不勝手につき、黒沢村善左衛門と申す者へ諸道具等売り渡し、則ち跡は善左衛門が紺屋仕りたき由、願書差し出し、条左衛門殿へ差し出し候ところ、願書の通り承り届け候様に仰せ付けられ候。依ってこれ下手紙を遣わし呼び寄せ、右の趣申し渡し候。 一、喜多屋与右衛門、中沢山材木川下しにつき、月々小手形の印形取りに罷り越し候。依って私共非番の月の節は、御役番に罷り出で候御座候えども、右印形在宿にて相済み候様に、平次左衛門殿へ申し達し候ところ、委細承知いたされ候。その段御月番へ申し達さるべき由、挨拶御座候。 十五日 一、善八殿より手紙申し来る。明後十七日、御綱打ち両人、早朝より差し出し、三昼八つ時分までに罷り帰り候様に申し付け候様、申し来り候。右の段、両人へ申し付け候。 十五日 一、飴四つ   総平 一、岩魚一つ 同日 一、御網岩鋳方、二御普請方より受け取り申し候。

[Left folio]  I humbly request receipt of the above. End.   March 14th  Kyūzaemon 14th day One, Yoemon, a dyer (kōya) of Miroku village, who has until now operated four indigo vats, submitted a petition requesting to increase to five vats beginning this spring. The matter was forwarded to Jōzaemon-dono, and it was settled with instructions to acknowledge and approve the petition. Notice was accordingly sent to Heibei. Same day One, Tokuemon, a dyer of Yokkaichi-ba, finding himself in financial difficulty, wishes to sell all his tools and equipment to a man called Zenzaemon of Kurosawa village, after which Zenzaemon desires to operate the dyeing business in his place. A petition was submitted and forwarded to Jōzaemon-dono, who issued instructions to acknowledge and approve it as requested. Accordingly, a letter was sent to summon him and the above decision was conveyed. One, Kitaya Yoemon, regarding the floating of timber down the river from Nakazawa mountain, has been coming monthly to obtain seal impressions on small vouchers. Since on months when we are off-duty we would still need to appear for official duty, a request was made to Heijizaemon-dono that the said seal impressions might instead be handled by those residing on duty. He acknowledged the full details and replied that he would convey the matter to the monthly duty officer. 15th day One, a letter arrived from Zenhachi-dono. It stated that for the day after tomorrow, the 17th, two rope-braiders (tsunauchi) should be dispatched from early morning and instructed to return by around the hour of the Rooster in the afternoon (around 2 PM). The two men were accordingly notified. 15th day One, four pieces of candy   Sōhei One, one iwana (char) Same day One, one iron casting for an official net received from the two construction officials.
