One item: Regarding the transport tax (unjo) on hemp fiber and hemp cloth, there was an official instruction to submit a written statement on the matter. Word was accordingly sent to our colleague to inquire of the parties holding the contract (ukeoi-mono) and then submit the written statement. Kyūbei therefore dispatched a messenger today requesting that Ōmiya Zenzō come to this residence. Zenzō appeared immediately, and upon making inquiry of him, he submitted the aforementioned written statement.
