The above — regarding the clearing of undergrowth and the handling of baggage at the lacquer fields (urushi-batake) — it is requested that [the porters] be received and engaged from the next available free day, once the lower-area work is completed. Respectfully submitted.

One item: As His Lordship is to make a visit to Nakamura on the following day, the 29th, [Nishi]jō Zaemon-dono has instructed the same-role officials to dispatch the two net-rope handlers (tsuna-uchi). It has been communicated through Isuke that the same-role officials have duly responded and the matter has been settled.
