一 さこ（鮭・鱒）十六俵平（ひらえ）
二日
一 今日、松田屋（まつだや）の遠州（えんしゅう）下（くだし）の材木等の手形（てがた）弐通、印形（いんぎょう）を取りに参り、則ち調印（ちょういん）して遣わし候。林・数柄田（かずからだ）則性（のりなが？）これを致し候。
一 御中小姓目付衆（おちゅうこしょうめつけしゅう）より廻状（まわしじょう）、左の通り。
「来る二十四日、殿様、御発馬（ごはつば）遊ばされ候。この段、申し達し候様に、（西）条左衛門殿より仰せ付けられ候。」
一 徳平へ御礼（おれい）、受け取られ候由（よし）。例の通り、五日五つ半時（ここのつはんどき）揃い、格弐（かくに）以上、書き仕り、御配（ごはい）。以後、御■目付■■これ有り候。

一 今日、御用（ごよう）罷り成り（まかりなり）、大久保氏家（おおくぼうじけ）作左衛門（さくざえもん）は、杉嶋（すぎしま）の書（しょ）を請け合い（うけあい）、下川（しもかわ）取り越し候様、御届（おとどけ）御座候に付き、粂左衛門（くめざえもん）が申し上げ候上にて、後衆（のちしゅう）の節（せつ）、百文（ひゃくもん）相伺い申すべき段、申し上げ候。
十日
一 今日、御参府人（おさんぷにん）、これ割（わり）を仰せ付けられ候。非番（ひばん）の月、幸作（こうさく）、右同役（みぎどうやく）へ申し聞かせ候。

一 山室川（やまむろがわ）の簗打ち（やなうち）の度（たび）の非持村（ひもちむら）、孫蔵（まごぞう）の通り承り届け、申し遣わし候。
一 善八（ぜんぱち）殿より手代（てだい）にて申し来たり候所、川鍬取り（かわくわとり）の儀、御網打ち（おあみうち）差し出し申し候様に、則ち申し付け候。以上。

One item: Today, Matsudaya came to obtain two documents (tegata) bearing seals, regarding timber and other goods shipped down from Enshū. The documents were duly signed and dispatched. This was handled by [persons named] Hayashi and Kazukarada Norinaga (?)
One item: A circular letter from the Junior Page Inspectors (chū-koshō-metsuke) reads as follows:
"His Lordship is to depart on horseback on the 24th of the coming month. You are hereby instructed to communicate this matter accordingly, as ordered by [Nishi]jō Zaemon-dono."
One item: It is reported that the honorific gift (o-rei) has been received by Tokuhei. As per custom, at four-thirty (kokonotsu-han, approx. 1:00 AM or in context ~8:30 AM), those of Grade 2 (kaku-ni) and above are to assemble, records are to be prepared, and distribution is to be made. Thereafter, there will be ■ Inspector ■■.

One item: Today, official business concluded. It was reported that Ōkubo Ujike Sakuzaemon guaranteed the document from Sugishima and requested delivery past Shimokawa (i.e., forwarding downstream). Accordingly, Kumezaemon submitted the matter, stating that at the next gathering of the relevant officials (nochi-shū), it would be proper to inquire [about a fee of] 100 mon.
10th Day
One item: Today, the allocation of those traveling to the capital (go-sanpu-nin) was ordered. Kōsaku, on his off-duty month, informed the same-role official of this.

One item: Regarding the fish weir installation (yana-uchi) at the Yamamuro River, [the matter was handled] through Magozō of the non-holding village (himochi-mura), received and duly communicated.
One item: As communicated through a representative (tedai) from Zenpachi-dono, with regard to the river excavation/dredging work (kawa-kuwa-tori), the net handlers (ami-uchi) were instructed to be dispatched. That is all.
