一 非持村（ひもちむら）の下赤前（しもあかまえ）、同村の伝四郎（でんしろう）より簗（やな）の申し込みがあり、承り届け置き候。
十三日
一 漆畑（うるしばた）の薪払い（たきぎばらい）が相済み、今日より同役（どうやく）の幸作方（こうさくかた）へ遣わす人割（ひとわり）の世話を申し付け候。

米 九人分也 但し一人につき弐合五勺（にごうごしゃく）ずつ
右は、漆畑の薪払いにつき、終日罷り出で相勤め申し候につき、昼食のため米を受け取り申し候。よってくだんの如し。

12th Day
One item: From Shimōakamae in Himochi Village, a man named Denshirō of the same village submitted a request regarding the installation of a fish weir (yana). The request was received and duly noted.
13th Day
One item: The firewood clearing (takigi-barai) at the lacquer field (urushi-bata) has been completed. From today onward, instructions have been given to arrange the allocation of persons (hito-wari) to be dispatched to the office of Kōsaku, who holds the same official role.
Memorandum (Oboegaki)
Rice: for 9 persons — at a rate of 2 gō 5 shaku per person
The above rice is hereby received as a midday meal, in recognition that [the recipients] came out for the full day and performed their duties in connection with the firewood clearing at the lacquer field. Accordingly, this is as stated.
