一、今日御用日に宝右衛門殿が申し上げられたこと：
去る冬、御中小姓目付からの表向きの御回状が参り、
三ヶ年［不明］があり、郷内の御家中の
諸運上（諸税）を御免除の所、来春より
引き方を御用捨（免除）することに付き、先年の通り
［不明］調査等の運上を差し出すべき数が
多くあるので相回るけれども、分一方の御役
筋には何の御沙汰も御座らない。
網杜（あみもり）を受け取り集める条件として相渡し
申すべき成りと相伺い、先年の通り
相心得［不明］相渡すように甚右衛門殿が
仰せ聞かされ、御水中並びに御［不明］帳
無しで相願いすれば相取り
申すべきとの由を申し達し置いた。

Twenty-fifth day
One, Today on the official duty day, Hōemon-dono reported:
Last winter, an official circular came from the page inspector (chūkoshō metsuke),
stating that for three years [unclear] there has been exemption of
various taxes (un'age) for the domain retainers within the villages,
and from next spring the collection method would be suspended (pardoned).
According to precedent, [unclear] investigations and other taxes
should be submitted in large numbers, so they are being circulated,
but there has been no official instruction regarding the bun'ichikata office duties.
It was inquired that amimori (net guards) should be collected and distributed
under certain conditions. Following precedent,
understanding [unclear] should be distributed as Jinemon-dono
instructed, and for water management and [unclear] registers,
if petitioned without these, they should be taken
as was reported and arranged.
