Regarding the weir site (yana-ba) at Benzaiten Yagawara, of which you informed me recently — [from] the straw bale marker (tawara) onward, ■■, by proceeding along the Kamo riverbank, it requires little manpower, and by our rough estimate it appears the work can be completed with about seventy workers. On this basis, after discussion, it has been agreed that a weir of approximately two ken in width be constructed in a simple and easy manner, as per our rough working estimate. I will look into the details further and will communicate them to you. ■ For now, this is all.
