一、上新田（かみしんでん）小海（こうみ）にて簗（やな）内申し度の義、猶々（なおなお）善内（ぜんない）へ右の段を承り置き、勝手次第払い候様に申し付け候。

一、御綱打ち両人、今日より請け取り申し候。

一、漆下■■、利払い久兵衛御中間（ちゅうげん）弐人ずつ罷り出で候。

一、七夕御礼、十二以上（辰の刻）、中淵村（なかぶちむら）より罷り出で、御家老・御年寄衆・御用人中まで御礼申し上げ候。則ち軽（かる）御城にて条左衛門殿より仰せ付けられ候は、此度の御築（おんつき）の義、拙者（それがし）不在につき、■■悦左衛門殿■■、簗の御用相済み候様にとの仰せ付け、畏まり奉り候段、申し上げ候。

Item: Regarding the request to report the weir (yana) matter at Kōmi in Kamishindenthe details have again been conveyed to Zen'nai, and he has been instructed to make payment at his own convenience as he sees fit.
6th Day
Item: The two net-rope workers have been received [into service] as of today.

Item: Regarding the lacquer advance ■■ — for the interest payment, Kyūbei and two attendants (chūgen) each appeared [to attend to the matter].
7th Day
Item: For the Tanabata Festival greetings, [we] departed from Nakabuchi Village at or after the Hour of the Dragon (around 8 a.m.), and paid our respects to the Senior Councillors (karō), Elders (otoshiyori), and Officials (goyōnin). At the Karu Castle, Lord Jōzaemon conveyed instructions to the effect that: regarding the weir construction (o-tsuki) this time, as I [Jōzaemon] am absent, ■■ Lord Etsuzaemon ■■ has been directed to see that the weir business is brought to completion. We humbly acknowledged these instructions and so reported.

Item: Today, the list of items to be submitted for the weir business was brought to Lord Gonzaemon. ■ Regarding the official matter ■, [it was arranged] that [the items] be brought immediately to Lord Jōzaemon, who came over at once.
