中沢山より甲中市右衛門、材木下川入用に付き、梶木入りへ罷り入り候え、相頼み候。
六右衛門、物■■手より申し承り候得共、相届け候趣、御座無く候に付き、いずれとも杉板（仕入れ）仕らず候。且つは、以後、三■、頼村、休ちかと申す者も届け承り候哉と、御尋ねなされ候様。一切、休左衛門より届けの義、両人共、承り申さず候。

Memorandum
Regarding the need to float timber downstream from Nakazawa Mountain, [a person] entered the valley of Kajiki-iri and made a request to Ichiemon of Kōnaka. Although [this] was heard through Rokurōemon's ■■ party, there is no record of a formal notification having been submitted. Therefore, no cedar boards were procured [by anyone]. Furthermore, [you are requested] to inquire whether a person called "Yasumi-chika" from Tanomimura and San■ [village] thereafter also submitted a notification. As for any notification from Yasumi-zaemon, neither of the two of us received [any such communication].
The above is respectfully submitted.

Regarding the above written statement: Hisazaemon, being aware [of the matter], presented it to Jōzaemon, who received it without delay. The matter has thus been made clear. Should further inquiry arise, [we] will duly report [the details] in full. [The document was] received.
