     小出村      境村      下新田村 右は明後五日為小簗改 罷出申候於田原村上下三人 昼食郷賄御座候図被仰付 被下候様仕度奉存候日昼後藤庄助 被下候以度存候猶又 行懸り次第於小出一宿 仕候義も可有御座奉存候 且又六日昼食於下新田村 行懸致度仕候義も可有 御座奉存候以上     八月三日  右同人 六日 一春近川下右指出書面之通  相改小出に止宿罷有候  一宿に付平次右衛門殿へ往来共  致届候    覚     御中間六人  右は御簗改御用弁才天河原  に而中揚仕候付受取申度  奉存候被仰渡被下候様に仕度  奉存候   八月七日    覚   椹黒■榑六拾壱間

小出村(こいでむら)      境村(さかいむら)      下新田村(しもしんでんむら) 右は明後(あさって)五日、御簗(おやな)改めのため罷り出で申し候。田原村(たわらむら)において上下(かみしも)三人、昼食(ちゅうしょく)郷賄(ごうまかない)御座候よう仰せ付け下され候よう仕りたく存じ奉り候。日昼(ひるま)後藤庄助(ごとうしょうすけ)下され候(よう)存じ奉り候。なお又、行きがかり次第、小出(こいで)において一宿(いっしゅく)仕り候義も御座あるべく存じ奉り候。かつ又、六日の昼食は下新田村(しもしんでんむら)において行きがかり致したく候義も御座あるべく存じ奉り候。以上。   八月三日  右同人(うどうじん) --- 六日 一 春近川(はるちかがわ)下、右指し出し書面(しょめん)の通り相改め、小出(こいで)に止宿(ししゅく)罷りあり候。一宿(いっしゅく)につき平次右衛門(へいじえもん)殿へ、往来(おうらい)ともに届け致し候。 ---    覚(おぼえ)   御中間(おちゅうげん)六人  右は御簗改(おやなあらため)の御用のため、弁才天河原(べんざいてんかわら)にて中揚(なかあげ)仕り候につき、受け取り申したく存じ奉り候。仰せ渡され下され候よう仕りたく存じ奉り候。   八月七日 ---    覚(おぼえ)   椹黒(さわらぐろ)■榑(くれ)六拾壱間(ろくじゅういっけん)

Koide Village      Sakai Village      Shimo-Shinden Village Regarding the above: [the inspection party] will set out on the 5th, the day after tomorrow, for the purpose of inspecting the weirs. [I] humbly request that orders be issued to the effect that a party of three (upper and lower attendants) be provided with a midday meal through village hospitality (gō-makanai) at Tawara Village. [I] also humbly request that Gotō Shōsuke be provided [for the midday portion]. Furthermore, depending on the progress of the journey, there may be occasion to stay one night at Koide. Additionally, there may also be occasion to take the midday meal of the 6th day at Shimo-Shinden Village while en route. Respectfully submitted.   8th Month, 3rd Day  Same person as above --- 6th Day Item: The lower [reaches of] Haruchika River — [the inspection was carried out] as per the submitted document noted above; [the party] lodged at Koide for one night. Regarding the one night's lodging, notification was duly delivered to Heijirōemon, including the travel record (ōrai). ---    Memorandum    Six foot-soldier attendants (o-chūgen) Regarding the above: as [the party] has completed the mid-unloading (naka-age) [of the weir timber] at Benzaiten-kawara for the purpose of the weir inspection duty, [I] humbly submit that [I] wish to take receipt of [said attendants].
