一 御役筋（おやくすじ）吉直（よしなお）につき、御勘定帳（おかんじょうちょう）の落字（おちじ）并びに■■等まで■■、直方（じきがた）相済み候上、月番■右衛門殿へ、右、恐れ入り申すにつき、差し控え仕るべく成し候様、伺いの筋申し達し候。尤も同役一緒に被成（なされ）候。
一 右につき、今（いま）七時過ぎより門半（もんはん）行き着き、相慎み候様にと、与左衛門（よざえもん）殿にも仰せられ候。以上。
銀（ぎん）御代前帳（おだいまえちょう）罷り在り候ところ、藤六（とうろく）時過ぎ、大納（だいのう）候方、連石（れんせき）にて、左の通り申し上ぐる。

Regarding the above: When Itō Shingorōemon came [to this place] for the official duty of presenting matsutake mushrooms [to superiors], [the rice] was provided [as a stipend], and was duly distributed immediately from within the Naosuke rice [supply]. We hereby confirm receipt thereof. In witness whereof, this document is issued.

**5th Day**
One item: Regarding the matter of [my colleague's] petition for a formal refraining from duty (sashihikae), [someone] came [with a message] ■■■; at the time when [the decision] was handed down, [a reward/relief] was bestowed from above ■. The matter was duly reported to the monthly duty officer by the colleague.
**6th Day**
One item: Concerning the official duty [of] Yoshinao — regarding omitted characters (ochiji) in the account book (kanjō-chō) and ■■, etc. — after [the corrections] were settled directly, [a message] was conveyed to the monthly duty officer, ■-emon, to the effect that [the relevant party] was deeply remorseful and should be placed under formal restraint (sashihikae). The colleague was [present/involved] together [in this matter].
One item: Regarding the above — from after seven o'clock (approx. 4–5 AM or 4–5 PM), [a person was] to proceed to [the] Monhan [gate/place] and conduct themselves with due restraint; this was also communicated to Yozaemon-dono. The above is submitted.
[While] the Silver Accounts Ledger (Gin Odaimae-chō) was being attended to, after the Hour of the Rabbit (approx. 6 AM / after six o'clock), [a report came in] from the Dainō [tax collection] side, via Renseki [messenger/connected post], as stated to the left [below].
