一、今年より中関（なかせき）相廻り候につき、先ず十七日図りに御座候へ共、飯嶋通（いいじまどおり）の内ゆえ、六日留まりて相済み申すべき段、申し候。以上。

一、御用金銭の義、利左衛門殿より受け申し請け、廿日御用日に差し出し致すべく候。二十一日頃、請け取り申すべく候。左様御座候様に、可被成候様に申し通し置き候。
十一日
一、飯嶋・海嶋へ下（くだ）し飛脚の義につき、心付（こころつき）の義これ有り、同役へ相談し、条左衛門殿へ申すこと。
一、この度、例年の通り、飯嶋・福嶋飛脚、御荷物の義につき、飯嶋に伴右衛門より外に手代両人御座候。赤羽甚之丞・金子四郎八と申し候者、両人にも御荷物、成さるべく候や。中関（なかせき）柳田茂兼（やなぎだしげかね）代と御座候人は、伴左衛門尉壱人、元〆手代（もとじめてだい）、布盤様（ふばんさま）御代印、然るにつき、□右衛門ばかりにて、外両人は■間度（はばかりたく）■■、為人（ためひと）■、相伺い候様。押田代（おしだかわり）、伴右衛門へは壱人方ばかりへ相済み申し候。その旨、相心得候。

1. From this year, as the mid-checkpoint (nakaseki) rotation has come around, it was first estimated to be around the 17th day; however, since [the route] falls within the Iijima road district, [it was] stated that [the matter] would be settled after a six-day stopover. The above is submitted.
**14th Day**
1. Regarding official funds — [we] are to receive [them] from Rizaemon-dono, and shall present [them] on the official duty day of the 20th. Around the 21st day, [we] should be receiving [them]. It has been communicated that [matters] should be arranged in this manner.
**11th Day**
1. Regarding the dispatch of a messenger (kudashi-hikyaku) to Iijima and Kaishima — there is a matter requiring attention; having consulted with colleagues of the same post, [the following] is submitted to Jōzaemon-dono:
1. On this occasion, as in previous years, regarding the official messenger for Iijima and Fukushima and the handling of official goods — at Iijima, in addition to Tomōemon, there are two clerks (tedai). As for the individuals called Akaba Jinnojō and Kaneko Shirōhachi, might both of these two men also [be permitted] to handle the official goods? As for the person serving in the position of Yanagida Shigekane's replacement at the mid-checkpoint (nakaseki) — there is [only] one person, Tomozaemon-jō, the chief clerk (motojime-tedai), acting under the authority of Fuban-sama's proxy seal; therefore, only □emon [is available], and [it would be] undesirable to [involve] the other two persons ■■, and as a person acting on behalf ■ — [we] humbly inquire as appropriate. As for Oshida's replacement, [the matter] has been settled only with Tomōemon's side [being involved]. [We] understand the purport of this.
1. [Regarding what was] communicated to Shin-no-e (the申 direction) — Jitsudayū has been instructed that [the matter] will be conveyed on the official duty day of the 20th. Furthermore, this year, the official goods for Iijima fall under official channels (o-tesuji). Accordingly, [we] consulted with colleagues of the same post and humbly submitted [our] inquiry, as stated. [We] have been instructed to proceed with the matter of acceptance.
