粂左衛門殿より御挨拶として、去年中も差し出され候につき、苦々しく思われる旨の口上を仰せられ候■（につき）、甚平方へ久兵衛を通じ内意を申し遣わし候。
一、銭五百貫 松丸太五十一本
右は御旗本留（とどめ）の御払い代銀上納仕り候ところ、依って件の如し。

右書付、二十日御月日をもって五左衛門殿へ御目に掛け候につき差し出し、十一日御貸付の儀、伺い奉り候様申し上げ候。

Regarding a greeting from Kumezaemon-dono: as [the matter] had been submitted during the previous year as well, he expressed his displeasure [about the situation] ■, and through Kyūbei, a private communication (naigi) was sent to Jinpei's household.
Item: 500 kanmon in coin; 51 logs of pine timber (matsu marutar)
The above represents the payment for the retained (todome) hatamoto [bannermen's] goods, and the silver payment has been duly submitted. Thus recorded as above.
