一　二十五日に二物、勝茂左衛門殿より請け取る。
一　二十五日、明け六つ時に飯島・海島へ御飛脚出立。久左衛門殿へ御届け申し上げ致し候。
一　飯島に御荷物三箇所分を差し置き、人は海島への御荷物（五升樽二つ・塩各あり、二包）、右二品にて貫目七・八貫目同じく御座候につき、御仲間が負い候義相成り置き候。依って高（かさ）につき、あるいは人足に出させ候ように申し付け遣わし候。この段も条左衛門殿も申し上げられ候。

The above [is needed] as goods are being dispatched to Iijima and Kaishima; I humbly request that [the horse] be ordered to present itself at Lord Kyūzaemon's residence at the sixth hour of dawn (approximately 6 a.m.) on the 24th of the coming month. Respectfully submitted.

Item: On the 25th, two loads of goods received from Lord Katsumozaemon.
Item: On the 25th, at the sixth hour of dawn, the courier departed for Iijima and Kaishima. Notification duly submitted to Lord Kyūzaemon.
Item: Three portions of cargo left at Iijima, while the porter carried the cargo for Kaishima (two five-shō barrels, salt included, in two packages); as the combined weight of these two items came to seven or eight kan, the [assigned] companion (nakama) ended up bearing [this load]. Accordingly, given the volume/weight, instructions were sent out that [additional] porters should be put to work. Lord Jōzaemon also reported this matter.
