有之候ても人足之分は渡来候得共馬
之義差家人足分も夜中舟渡も
無之に付未明出之人足間に合兼候
難渋仕候事
一右に付市中勤之者え二重に当込間に合
候を専一々仕候得共人馬取節は引足
不申難渋仕候
一上伊那行宮木平出御継立之義人馬
共々差出候得は遠出に付相労翌日
と差支にも相成り難渋仕候
右之通にて勤方難渋仕候に付何卒
近村え寄人馬定助勤奉

ありましても人足の分は渡って来ることができますが、馬
の件については差家人足分も夜中の舟渡しも
ないため、未明に出発する人足に間に合わず
難渋しております事
一右の件につき市中勤めの者へ二重に当て込み間に合わせる
ことを専一にしておりますが、人馬取りの際は引き足
つかず難渋しております
一上伊那郡宮木平出への御継立の件、人馬
ともに差し出しますと遠出のため疲労し翌日
にも差し支えとなり難渋しております
右の通りで勤め方に難渋しておりますので、何卒
近村への寄人馬定助勤めを
お願い申し上げます

Even when such arrangements are available, foot messengers can cross over, but regarding horses, since there are no provisions for temporary house laborers or nighttime ferry crossings, we cannot manage to provide foot messengers who depart before dawn, causing us great difficulty.
Regarding the above matter, we make it our priority to assign town workers double duty to manage the situation, but when procuring men and horses, we cannot make up for the shortage and face difficulties.
Regarding post relay duties to Miyakidaira in Kami-Ina district, when we dispatch both men and horses, the long distance causes fatigue, and this affects the next day's duties, causing us difficulties.
Due to these circumstances, we face difficulties in carrying out our duties, so we humbly request the establishment of auxiliary men and horses from nearby villages.
