られたところ、玄蕃の人馬ともに驚いて退いたという話は、なお項羽が赤泉侯を叱ったのに似たことである。たとえ今その勇威が、項羽や豊臣公に及ばないものであっても、この浩然の気をもって人を圧倒することを試みるには、従来論じてきた試剣の法に勝るものはなく、雑技といえども、この趣旨を理解しないものは、その奥妙を自得することは難しい。これはことごとくその無妄の誠、ただ一つを以て貫いたものであるから、一理を究めて、万事に通達すべきであるためである。
