御贈物の多少によって御用や御勤めの件に差し障りが生じるでしょうか、あるいは無益な働きや手数がかかるような事情等がございましたら、そちらの地元の者たち、御定番へお申し聞かせくださるようお願いいたします。
もっとも、その旨は地役人へもあらかじめ申し聞かせておいた事柄ですので、少しも御遠慮なさらずに、御後番へ一通りお申し送りいただくようお願いいたします。このように御相談申し上げる次第です。
