一 上山田村、北林村の御林を見分し、桜井村へ出向き、同村の御林へ杉・桧を植え付けることについて、局長にその旨を申し達し、庁掌へ御届けを左の通り差し出しました。
私は御役方の御用のため中沢郷へ今日出張いたします。この旨御届け申し上げます。

1. We inspected the domain forests of Kamiyamada Village and Kitabayashi Village, then proceeded to Sakurai Village. Regarding the planting of cedar and cypress in that village's domain forest, I reported this matter to the bureau chief and submitted the following notification to the office head:
I am traveling to Nakazawa district today on official business. I hereby notify you of this matter.

1. After four o'clock, I took along junior clerk Suzuki Kinjū and inspected the dead standing cypress in Kamiyamada Village's domain forest, then proceeded from Kitabayashi Village to Sakurai Village and lodged at headman Ichiemon's residence.
