黒河内村又三郎へ祭礼金壱両相渡

一 明廿八日中尾村飯島水神祭礼に付
罷出夫より中津郷へ相廻り所々御林
見分之上新宮川渡船蔵場川除
見分旁罷出候間左之通庁掌へ差出候
私儀御役方御用に付入野谷郷ゟ
中沢郷迄明廿八日未明在出仕
此旨御届申上候也

八時頃ゟ中尾村飯島水神へ罷越候処
請負之者は勿論木師五ヶ村役人共

いたし候御初穂は村方ゟ差出候夕刻
黒河内村名主又三郎方へ引取止宿

の者へ木を渡すために出向いた。
二十二日
一 来る二十八日の飯島水神祭礼について、年番の
黒河内村又三郎へ祭礼金一両を渡した。
二十七日
一 明日二十八日に中尾村の飯島水神祭礼のため
出向き、そこから中津郷へ回って各所の御林を
見分した上で、新宮川の渡船場や川除けを
見分するため出向くので、次の通り庁掌へ提出した。
私は役方の御用のため入野谷郷から
中沢郷まで、明日二十八日未明に出仕します。
この旨をお届け申し上げます。

一 小吏松沢利東太を召し連れて非持村並びに溝口村の
御林を見分し、そこから黒河内谷門方へ立ち寄り、
八時頃から中尾村の飯島水神へ出向いたところ、
請負の者はもちろん、木師五ヶ村の役人たちも
出向いていた。もっとも神主は市瀬村の三島神社の神事を
行っており、御初穂は村方から差し出された。夕刻に
黒河内村名主又三郎方へ引き取って宿泊した。

One For the Iijima Water God Festival on the upcoming 28th, I delivered
one ryō of festival money to Matazaburō of Kurokōchi Village, who serves as the annual representative.
27th day
One Tomorrow, the 28th, I will go out for the Iijima Water God Festival in Nakao Village,
then make rounds to Nakatsu District to inspect various government forests,
and also inspect the Shingū River ferry crossing and flood control works.
I submitted the following to the office director:
I will be on duty from Irinoya District to
Nakazawa District starting before dawn tomorrow, the 28th, for official business.
I hereby report this matter.

One I took along junior clerk Matsuzawa Ritōta to inspect the government forests of Himochi Village and Mizoguchi Village,
then stopped by the Kurokōchi Valley gate area.
From around 8 o'clock, I went to the Iijima Water God shrine in Nakao Village, where
not only the contractors but also officials from the five timber villages
had gathered. The shrine priest was conducting services for Mishima Shrine from Ichise Village,
and the ritual offerings were provided by the village. In the evening,
I retired to stay at the house of village headman Matazaburō in Kurokōchi Village.
