右の残木の分は当年の御薪より高値で不都合につき、町方の酒屋で望む者へ払い下げの件をお伺いしたところ、入札の上で売り払うよう仰せ聞かされた。

Regarding the remaining wood mentioned above, since it was inconveniently priced higher than this year's official firewood, when we inquired about selling it to sake brewers in the town who desired it, we were instructed to sell it through public bidding.
