一 下河原薪渡しにつき弁財天橋向役所へ出向いて引き渡した。

一 今日総出仕のところ、左の通り権大参事河野越殿より仰せ渡された
去る二十日の御呼び出しにつき第十字岡野大参事が参上したところ、信濃国諸県が廃止され筑摩県・長野県が置かれ、従前管轄の地所は当未年より物成・郷村等を新置県へ引き渡すよう仰せ出された。
ただし廃県の官員は追って御沙汰があるまで、新置県全参事の指図を得て従前の庁で事務を取り扱うよう仰せ出された。
右の趣旨を心得ておくこと。

Regarding the summons on the 20th, Senior Councilor Okano of the 10th district attended, whereupon it was announced that the various prefectures of Shinano Province would be abolished and Chikuma Prefecture and Nagano Prefecture would be established, and that the territories under previous jurisdiction should transfer their tax assessments, villages, etc. to the newly established prefectures from this year of the sheep.
However, officials of the abolished prefectures should, until further notice, handle affairs at their former offices under the direction of all councilors of the newly established prefectures, as announced.
The above should be understood and kept in mind.
