㊈女中（ぢよちう）諸病（しよべう）妙薬（めうやく）《割書：秘方（ひはう）》
女中（ぢよちう）のわづらひ男（おとこ）とちがひてさま〳〵の事あるもの也
わかき女中（ちよちう）は医者（いしや）にもかたらず人（ひと）にしらるゝ事をはぢて
われと心（こゝろ）におもひわつらゐのちには命（いのち）をうしなふほどの
太事（だいじ）にもおよふ事をゝしよつてあらまし書付（かきつけ）侍（はべ）る
一 前（まへ）つねににほひあしきには
八月 中（なか）ごろゑのみの色（いろ）あかきをとりて前（まへ）に入（いれ）をくべし
あづきの花（はな）をかげぼしにして入（いる）るも妙（めう）なり
一 前（まへ）はれいたむには
菊（きく）のわかなへをよくすりあつゆにかきたてゝあらふへし
又 馬鞭草（ばへんさう）をすりてぬるも妙（みやう）なり
一 前（まへ）つよくかゆきには
蛇床子（じやしやうし）明礬（みやうはん）二 味（み）とうぶんにせんし前（まへ）をあらひ五（こ）
倍子（はいし）明礬（みやうばん）粉にしてひねりかけてよし又

日（ひ）に三 度（ど）入（いれ）かへてよし

呉茱萸（ごしゆゆ）《割書：半両｜》こにして絹（きぬ）の袋（ふくろ）にいれて入（いれ）べし

硫黄（いわう）を粉（こ）にして付（つけ）てよし又もゝの葉（は）をすりて綿（わたに）
現代語訳
女性の諸病気に対する妙薬（秘方）
女性の病気は男性とは異なり、様々な特殊な事情があるものである。
若い女性は医者にも相談せず、人に知られることを恥じて、
自分一人で心に思い悩んでいるうちに、命を失うほどの
重大事にも及ぶことを惜しんで、大体のことを書き付けておく。
一、陰部が普段から臭いが悪い場合には
八月中頃、榎の実の色が赤いものを取って陰部に入れておくべきである。
小豆の花を陰干しにして入れるのも効果的である。
一、陰部が腫れて痛む場合には
菊の若菜の葉をよく擦って熱い湯でかき立てて洗うべきである。
また馬鞭草を擦って塗るのも効果的である。
一、陰部が強く痒い場合には
蛇床子と明礬の二味を等分にして煎じて陰部を洗い、
五倍子と明礬を粉にして練って付けるとよい。また
杏仁（杏の種）を灰にして焼き、熱いときに綿に包んで陰部に入れ、
一日に三度入れ替えるとよい。
一、陰部が冷えて具合が悪い場合には
呉茱萸半両を粉にして絹の袋に入れて挿入すべきである。
一、陰部にできものができる場合には
硫黄を粉にして付けるとよい。また桃の葉を擦って綿に

Miraculous Medicines for Women's Various Ailments (Secret Formulas)
Women's ailments differ from men's and involve various special circumstances.
Young women do not consult doctors and are ashamed to let others know,
suffering alone in their hearts until it may develop into serious matters
that could cost them their lives. Regrettable as this is, I record the general treatments here.
1. For persistent bad odor in the private parts:
Around mid-August, take red-colored hackberry fruits and insert them into the private parts.
Drying azuki bean flowers in shade and inserting them is also effective.
1. For swelling and pain in the private parts:
Grind young chrysanthemum leaves well, mix with hot water, and wash with it.
Also, grinding and applying Verbena officinalis is effective.
1. For severe itching of the private parts:
Decoct equal parts of Cnidium monnieri seeds and alum to wash the private parts,
then make a powder of gallnuts and alum, knead it, and apply. Also,
burn apricot kernels to ash, wrap in cotton while hot, and insert into the private parts,
changing three times daily.
1. For coldness and poor condition of the private parts:
Powder half a ryō of Evodia rutaecarpa, put it in a silk bag, and insert it.
1. For sores appearing on the private parts:
Apply powdered sulfur. Also, grind peach leaves and apply with cotton
