差出申一札之事
一 金三千八拾四両弐分と
銭三百四拾壱文
右は御年貢金江戸表江御
差送りニ付今晩当宿御止宿ニ
相成書面之通御年貢金宿方江
被成御預慥ニ奉預り候然ル上は
不寝番人ニ付置火盗之難は
不及申都て異変之儀無之

様大切ニ相守可申万一火盗
難等ニ而御年貢金紛失仕候
ハヽ宿方ニ而引請急度弁納
可仕候依之御預り證文差
上申処仍如件

現代語訳
差し出し申す一札の事
一、金三千八十四両二分と
銭三百四十一文
右は御年貢金を江戸表へ御差し送りにつき、今晩当宿に御止宿になり、書面の通り御年貢金を宿方へお預けになり、確かにお預かりいたします。然る上は不寝番人を付け置き、火事盗難については申すに及ばず、すべて異変のことが無いよう大切に相守り申すべきです。万一火事盗難等により御年貢金を紛失いたしましたならば、宿方において引き請け、急度弁納いたします。これにより御預かり証文を差し上げ申すところ、よって件の如し。

Under these circumstances, we will assign sleepless guards, and needless to say regarding fire and theft, we shall carefully protect it so that no extraordinary incidents occur. Should the tax money be lost due to fire, theft, or other disasters, our inn will take responsibility and make prompt restitution. Therefore, we submit this receipt certificate. Thus as stated.
