ノ薬ヲモトメントテ。日本へワタリ。富士山ニ留（トヽマ）ルト
云伝タリ。又／紀州（キシウ）熊野（クマノ）ニモ徐福カ祠（ヤシロ）アリ

島宮という所にお住まいになった。在位百二年で崩御された。年百三十七歳。
七代
孝霊天皇 孝安の太子である。母は押媛という。懿徳の孫で、天足彦国押人の娘である。大和の黒田廬戸宮という所にお住まいになった。
この帝の五年に、近江国の地が裂けて湖ができ、同時に駿河国の富士山が初めて現れたという伝承がある。在位七十六年で崩御された。年百二十八歳。この代は異朝（中国）では秦の始皇帝の時にあたり、徐福という者が蓬萊山の不死の薬を求めようとして日本へ渡り、富士山に留まったと言い伝えられている。また紀州熊野にも徐福の祠がある。

In the fifth year of this emperor's reign, the land of Ōmi Province split open and formed a lake, and at the same time, Mount Fuji in Suruga Province appeared for the first time, according to tradition. He reigned for seventy-six years and passed away at the age of one hundred and twenty-eight. This era corresponded to the time of Qin Shi Huang in the foreign court (China), and it is said that a person named Xu Fu crossed over to Japan seeking the elixir of immortality from Mount Penglai and remained at Mount Fuji. There is also a shrine to Xu Fu in Kumano, Kii Province.
