〔承平六年八月の続き〕忠平に書状を大唐の呉越王に遣わした。同月、忠平が太政大臣に任じられた。仲平が左大臣に任じられた。藤原恒佐が右大臣に任じられた。
七年正月、天皇が元服された。《歳十五》忠平がその事を奉行した。十二月、陽成太上皇の七十の賀が行われた。
天慶元年三月四日、御前にて闘鶏十番があった。四月十五日より二十九日まで、毎日大地震があった。五月、右大臣恒佐が薨去した。良世の子である。

[Continued from the eighth month of the sixth year of Jōhei:] ...Tadahira sent a letter to the King of Wuyue in Tang China. In the same month, Tadahira was appointed Grand Minister of State (Daijō-daijin). Nakahira was appointed Minister of the Left. Fujiwara no Tsunesuke was appointed Minister of the Right.
In the seventh year, first month, the Emperor came of age (genpuku).《Age fifteen》 Tadahira presided over the ceremony. In the twelfth month, a celebration of the seventieth birthday of Retired Emperor Yōzei was held.
In the first year of Tengyō, third month, fourth day, ten bouts of cockfighting were held in the Imperial presence.
