（同類を）国々において捕らえさせた。満仲・善時に恩賞を与えた。高明は、広く日本の旧記ならびに故実に通じた人物であった。その収集した記録を「西宮記」という。千晴は秀郷の子である。ある説によれば、高明には逆心などなく、満仲の讒言であったのを、実頼がまことのこととして取り計らい、申し行ったとも言われている。
八月、天皇は御不例（病気）により、位を御弟の守平に譲り、冷泉院に移り住んで、太上天皇と号した。これより以後の天子には、皆院号がある。年号は安和、在位二年。
第六十四代
円融院 村上天皇の第五皇子である。諱は守平、母は冷泉院と同じである。安和二年九月に即位、年齢十一歳。実頼が摂政となり、随身・兵仗・牛車を許され、内覧の宣旨を賜った。十月、左大臣師尹が薨去した。十二月、実頼の七十歳の算賀が執り行われた。

The co-conspirators were arrested throughout the various provinces. Mitsunaka and Yoshitoki were rewarded for their service. Takaakira was a person widely versed in the old records of Japan as well as in precedents and court customs. The collection of records he compiled is known as the *Saigūki* (西宮記, "Records of the Western Palace"). Chiharu was a son of Hidesato. According to one account, Takaakira had no treasonous intent, and it was a slanderous accusation by Mitsunaka that Saneyori had taken as truth and acted upon accordingly.
In the eighth month, the Emperor, due to illness, abdicated in favor of his younger brother Morehira, retired to Reizei-in, and took the title of Daijō Tennō (Retired Emperor). From this point onward, all retired emperors carried an "in" (院) title. The reign era was Anna; the reign lasted two years.
The Sixty-Fourth Sovereign
Emperor En'yū: The fifth imperial prince of Emperor Murakami. His personal name was Morehira; his mother was the same as that of Emperor Reizei. He ascended to the throne in the ninth month of the second year of Anna, at the age of eleven. Saneyori served as regent (sesshō), and was granted permission to be accompanied by imperial guards (zuijin), armed escorts (hyōjō), and an ox-cart, and received an imperial decree granting him the privilege of nairan (prior inspection of official documents). In the tenth month, the Minister of the Left Morotada passed away. In the twelfth month, a celebration was held for Saneyori's seventieth birthday.
