治安元年五月、左大臣藤原顕光が薨去した。年七十八歳であった。七月、右大臣公季を太政大臣とした。関白内大臣頼通は左大臣となった。藤原実資は右大臣となり、藤原教通は内大臣となった。十月、春日へ行幸があった。
