その首を斬って京に送り、獄門にさらした。十月、上東門院が八幡・住吉に参詣した。
六年十一月、従一位源倫子に七十の賀があった。これは道長の室で、上東門院・中宮・頼通等の母であるから、天皇の外祖母でありながら姑である。
七年九月、大中臣輔親が勅使として伊勢へ参宮し、松の実の中で青玉を得て、帰京して奉った。
八年六月、賀茂斎院選子内親王が薨去した。歳七十二。上東門院と非常に親しかった。

She was Michinaga's wife and the mother of the Retired Empress Jōtōmon'in, the Middle Palace, and Yorimichi, making her both the Emperor's maternal grandmother and aunt.
In the ninth month of the seventh year, Ōnakatomi no Sukechika went as imperial envoy to the Ise Shrine, where he found a blue jewel inside pine nuts, and returned to the capital to present it.
In the sixth month of the eighth year, Princess Senshi, the Saiin (consecrated princess) of Kamo Shrine, passed away at the age of seventy-two. She had been very close to the Retired Empress Jōtōmon'in.
On the seventeenth day of the fourth month of the ninth year, the Emperor passed away at the age of twenty-nine. Middle Counselor Minamoto no Akimoto, being a close retainer, mourned deeply and became a monk at Ōhara. In the ninth month of the same year, Middle Palace Ishi also passed away. The era name changed from Kannin fourth year to Chian.
