現代語訳
民を唆かすという風聞により、義親はすでに伏誅されたに疑いなしといえども、万一逃げ延びたか、捕らえるべきとの旨の院宣を奥州の国司に下された。
元永元年九月、法皇が熊野へ御幸された。十二月、最勝寺供養の行幸があった。
二年八月、皇孫有仁が源姓を賜って、従三位に叙せられた。有仁の父輔仁親王は、後三条院の三の宮で、白河法皇の弟である。輔仁は能く詩を作った。
保安二年二月、忠実が関白を辞した。時に年四十四。三月、忠通が関白に任ぜられた。牛車を許され、随身兵仗を賜ることは例の如し。時に二十五歳。父忠実は宇治に閑居して、富家の別業にいた。故に富家殿と云う。五月、叡山の衆徒が三井寺を焼いた。

Due to rumors that he was inciting the people, although there was no doubt that Yoshichika had already been executed, an imperial decree was issued to the provincial governor of Ōshū stating that in case he had escaped, he should be captured.
In the first year of Gen'ei, ninth month, the retired emperor made an imperial pilgrimage to Kumano. In the twelfth month, there was an imperial visit for the consecration ceremony of Saishōji Temple.
In the second year, eighth month, the imperial grandson Arihito was granted the Minamoto surname and promoted to Junior Third Rank. Arihito's father, Prince Sukehito, was the third prince of Retired Emperor Go-Sanjō and the younger brother of Retired Emperor Shirakawa. Sukehito was skilled at composing poetry.
In the second year of Hōan, second month, Tadazane resigned from the position of kampaku at the age of forty-four. In the third month, Tadamichi was appointed kampaku. He was permitted to use an ox-drawn carriage and was granted armed attendants as was customary. He was twenty-five years old at the time. His father Tadazane lived in retirement in Uji, at the Fujiwara family's villa. Therefore, he was called Tomie-dono. In the fifth month, the monk-soldiers of Mount Hiei burned down Miidera Temple.
