三年二月、左大臣源有仁が薨去した。歳四十五。花園大臣と号した。六月、法皇と新院が叡山へ御幸された。八月、法皇が鳥羽殿にて阿弥陀仏の像を供養された。行幸があった。
四年六月、内裏が焼失した。七月、摂政忠通が法性寺を造営して供養した。法皇の御幸があった。八月、平野・大原野に行幸があった。
五年三月、延勝寺供養があり、行幸・御幸があった。七月、内大臣頼長が左大臣に任じられた。大納言実行が右大臣となった。源雅定が内大臣となった。十月、松尾・北野・稲荷・祇園に行幸があった。同月、摂政忠通が太政大臣に任じられた。相国を辞退した後に再び任じられるのは、これが初めてである。
六年正月、天皇が元服された。三月、忠通が太政大臣を辞した。

In the third year, second month, Left Minister Minamoto no Arihito died at the age of forty-five. He was called the Hanazono Minister. In the sixth month, the retired emperor and the new retired emperor made an imperial visit to Mount Hiei. In the eighth month, the retired emperor held a dedication ceremony for an Amida Buddha statue at Toba Palace. There was an imperial visit.
In the fourth year, sixth month, the Imperial Palace burned down. In the seventh month, Regent Tadamichi built Hōshō-ji temple and held its dedication ceremony. The retired emperor made an imperial visit. In the eighth month, there were imperial visits to Hirano and Ōharano.
In the fifth year, third month, there was the dedication ceremony of Enshō-ji temple, with imperial visits by both the emperor and retired emperor. In the seventh month, Interior Minister Yorinaga was appointed Left Minister. Major Counselor Saneyuki became Right Minister. Minamoto no Masasada became Interior Minister.
