In the eighth month of the second year, Fujiwara no Saneyuki resigned from the position of Chancellor. Around the same time, Left Minister Saneyoshi of the Tokudaiji family passed away. Right Minister Munesuke was appointed Chancellor, Inner Minister Koremichi was appointed Left Minister, and Motomi, son of Regent Tadamichi, was appointed Right Minister (at the age of fifteen). Major Counselor Fujiwara no Kinnori was appointed Inner Minister. Kinnori was Saneyuki's son. In the tenth month, the Great Imperial Palace was reconstructed.
