現代語訳
鮎を得た。今に至るまで、この河に鮎が多い。女性が釣りをするときは魚を得るが、男性が釣りをするときは魚を得られないという。皇后はまた橿日浦において御髪を解いて言われた。「私は西方を討とうとする。その験があるならば、私の髪が分かれて二つになるであろう」と言って、御髪を海水に浸して洗うと、たちまち両方へ分かれたので、すぐにその分かれるままに、分けて束ねて髻として、男子の姿を装って、群臣と征伐のことを議された。すぐに諸国へ勅して、船を集め、武具を整え、軍兵を召し集めた。弩という大弓も、この時初めて作られた。皇后自ら斧と鉞を取って、諸軍を指揮された。住吉明神の霊が現れて、御舟を守り、先鋒をすると言い伝えられている。この神は水神であるからである。その他不思議なことどもが多い。皇后は石を取って、御腰に挟み、呪いをかけられて。
