見物される。頼朝は参内・院参し、大納言に任ぜられる。主上へも法皇へも様々な進物があった。その後頼朝は石清水へ参詣し、太刀・馬を献上する。この時花山院右大臣兼雅は右大将を辞し、頼朝をして右大将を兼任させられる。十二月、頼朝は参内・院参し、大納言右大将を辞して鎌倉へ帰る。
二年正月、頼朝の政務の沙汰がある。大江広元が政所の別当となり、藤原行政が令・左官となり、鎌田俊長が案主となり、中原光家が知家事となり、三善善信が問注所の執事となり、和田義盛が侍所の別当となり、梶原景時が侍所の司となる。藤原親能、藤原俊兼、三善康清、三善宣衡、平盛時、中原仲業、清原実俊を公事奉行とする。このほか京都の守護は中納言藤原能保である。鎮西の奉行は天野遠景である。二月、能保は検非違使の

There were various gifts presented to both the Emperor and the Retired Emperor. Afterwards Yoritomo made a pilgrimage to Iwashimizu shrine and offered swords and horses. At this time, Kazanin Right Minister Kanemasa resigned as Right General, and Yoritomo was made to concurrently hold the position of Right General. In the twelfth month, Yoritomo made formal visits to the palace and retired emperor's court, resigned from Major Counselor and Right General, and returned to Kamakura.
