都より鎌倉へ遣わされた。七月、実朝が侍所司五人を定めた。泰時がその随一であった。八月、中殿で和歌の御会があった。十月、三条内大臣藤原公房が太政大臣に任じられた。実朝が内大臣に任じられた。左大将は元の通り。平政子に従二位を授けられた。二位の禅尼と号した。十一月、左大臣藤原良輔が薨去した。後京極良経の弟である。十二月、右大臣藤原道家が左大臣に任じられた。実朝が右大臣に任じられた。大納言藤原家道が内大臣に任じられた。後鳥羽上皇の仰せによって、大臣拝賀の諸具を実朝に賜った。坊門大納言藤原忠清、子の信清、西園寺中納言藤原実氏（公経の子）、参議藤原国通等、並びに雲客数輩が扈従のために鎌倉へ赴いた。

were sent from the capital to Kamakura. In the seventh month, Sanetomo appointed five samurai-dokoro-tsukasa (administrators of the Board of Retainers). Yasutoki was the foremost among them. In the eighth month, there was a poetry gathering at the Middle Palace. In the tenth month, Sanjō Inner Palace Minister Fujiwara no Kimifusa was appointed Grand Minister of State. Sanetomo was appointed Inner Palace Minister. He remained General of the Left as before. Taira no Masako was granted the court rank of Junior Second Rank. She took the title of Second Rank Zen Nun. In the eleventh month, Minister of the Left Fujiwara no Ryōsuke died. He was the younger brother of Go-Kyōgoku Yoshitsune. In the twelfth month, Minister of the Right Fujiwara no Michiie was appointed Minister of the Left. Sanetomo was appointed Minister of the Right. Major Counselor Fujiwara no Iemichi was appointed Inner Palace Minister. By order of Retired Emperor Go-Toba, various ceremonial items for the minister's congratulatory ceremony were bestowed upon Sanetomo. Bōmon Major Counselor Fujiwara no Tadakiyo, his son Nobukiyo, Saionji Middle Counselor Fujiwara no Sanetoshi (son of Kintsune), Councillor Fujiwara no Kunitō, and several other court nobles went to Kamakura to serve as escorts.
