現代語訳
[前ページから続く]家が関白となる。光明峯寺と号するゆえに、峯殿とも言われた。
寛喜元年（1229年）四月、中宮藤原長子を退けて、鷹司院と号し、関白道家の娘竴子が入内して中宮となる。その妹全子は内侍督となる。
二年（1230年）、北条駿河守重時が上洛し、六波羅に居住する。四月、北条修理亮時氏が鎌倉へ下向する。六月、北条時氏が病死する。歳二十八。十二月、故頼家の娘で竹御所と号する者を、頼経の御台所とする。頼経より年上であること十五歳である。
同月、松殿前関白基房が薨去する。歳八十六。
三年（1231年）二月、頼経を従四位に叙し、三月、右中将に任じ、四月、正四位に叙する。右大臣藤原教実は左に転じ、内大臣[の記述が続く]

In the first year of Kanki (1229), in the fourth month, Empress Fujiwara Chōshi was removed and given the title Takatsukasa-in. Sonshi, daughter of Chancellor Michiie, entered the palace and became Empress. Her younger sister Masako became Naishi-no-kami (Head of Palace Attendants).
In the second year (1230), Hōjō Shigoki, Governor of Suruga, went up to the capital and resided at Rokuhara. In the fourth month, Hōjō Tokiuji, Assistant Master of Palace Repairs, went down to Kamakura. In the sixth month, Hōjō Tokiuji died of illness at the age of twenty-eight. In the twelfth month, the daughter of the late Yoriie, known as Take-no-gosho, became Yoritsune's wife. She was fifteen years older than Yoritsune.
In the same month, Matsudono, former Chancellor Motofusa, passed away at the age of eighty-six.
In the third year (1231), in the second month, Yoritsune was promoted to Junior Fourth Rank. In the third month, he was appointed Right Middle Captain.
