In the tenth month, Saionji lay priest and Grand Minister Kintsune made a pilgrimage to Kumano. His second son Major Counselor Saneo, his eldest grandson Major Counselor Kinsuke, and other court nobles including Major Counselor Tameie, numbering several persons, along with about thirty courtiers of palace rank, accompanied him as attendants. This was almost equivalent to an imperial progress. In the eleventh month, memorial services were held for the thirteenth anniversary of Emperor Tsuchimikado's death.
