（北条業）時が加判した。貞時の外祖父・秋田城介・泰盛が陸奥守に任じられた。その威勢に肩を並べる者はなかった。同年、北条時国が六波羅において謀反の心があるとの噂が聞こえたため、関東へ呼び下して、常陸国へ流し、その後ついに殺した。七月、一条前関白・実経が薨じた。享年六十二歳。（法号を）円明寺と号す。今年、元朝より王積翁という使者に如智という禅僧を添えて日本へ渡らせ、我が国の風俗をうかがい見させようとした。しかし途中で王積翁が同船の者に殺されてしまったため、その件は立ち消えになった。この頃、亀山の新院、ならびに鎌倉の北条（氏）が禅法を好むとの由が、異国へ風聞していたためであろう。

In the seventh month, the Former Regent (Kanpaku) Ichijō Sanetsune passed away, at the age of sixty-two. His posthumous temple name was Enmyōji. In this same year, the Yuan court sent an envoy named Wang Jiweng (Ō Sekiō), accompanied by a Zen monk named Ruzhi (Nyochi), to Japan in order to observe the customs of our country. However, Wang Jiweng was killed by someone on board the same vessel during the voyage, and thus the mission came to nothing.
