（人々が口々に）ささやいた。文永三年より今年まで、在職二十四年であった。入洛の後、剃髪して、嵯峨の辺りにひっそりと住まわれたとのことである。このとき二十六歳であった。
九月、北条貞時の計らいにより、後深草院（本院）の御子で、主上の御弟にあたる久明親王を鎌倉へお迎え申し上げ、主君と仰ぐべしとして、飯沼判官と言う者以下、名ある武士七人が御迎えのために上洛した。飯沼判官は、頼綱入道の次男である。
十月、久明親王が元服し、征夷大将軍に任じられ、一品に叙され、式部卿を兼ねられた。すなわち仙洞より六波羅へ移り、ついに鎌倉へ赴かれた。このとき十六歳であった。（久明親王は）惟康が帰洛の際に通られた足柄越えを避けて、別の路より下向された。鎌倉においても、惟康の住んでいた館を取り壊し、新たに幕府を造って、貞時らが（久明親王を）お仕え申し上げた。惟康の娘を、久明の御息所とした。

(People whispered amongst themselves.) From the third year of Bun'ei to the present year, (Koreyasu) had been in office for twenty-four years. After arriving in the capital, he shaved his head and lived quietly in the vicinity of Saga. He was twenty-six years of age at this time.
In the ninth month, by the arrangement of Hōjō Sadatoki, Prince Hisaaki — the son of the Retired Emperor Gofukakusa (the Principal Retired Emperor, Hon'in) and the younger brother of the reigning Emperor — was to be welcomed to Kamakura and revered as lord. To this end, a man called the Magistrate (Hankan) of Iinuma, along with six other notable warriors, totaling seven men, went up to the capital to escort him. The Magistrate of Iinuma was the second son of the novice monk Yoritsuna.
In the tenth month, Prince Hisaaki came of age (genpuku), was appointed Sei'i Taishōgun (Shogun), was granted the First Rank (Ippon), and was concurrently appointed Minister of Ceremonial (Shikibu-kyō). He then moved from the Sentō (the Retired Emperor's palace) to Rokuhara, and subsequently proceeded to Kamakura. He was sixteen years of age at the time. (Prince Hisaaki) descended by a different route, avoiding the Ashigara Pass that Koreyasu had used on his return journey to the capital. In Kamakura as well, the residence where Koreyasu had lived was demolished, a new shogunal headquarters (bakufu) was constructed, and Sadatoki and the others served Prince Hisaaki with devotion. Koreyasu's daughter was made the consort (Miyasudokoro) of Hisaaki.
