（元亨）三年（1323）三月、一条内経が関白を辞した。九条房実が関白となった。
五月、源通雄が太政大臣を辞した。鷹司の前関白冬平が大臣に再任された。
正中元年（1324）正月、三条の前内大臣公茂が薨去した。享年四十一歳。
三月、石清水（八幡宮）へ行幸があった。四月、賀茂（神社）へ行幸があった。同月、鷹司の内大臣冬教が左大臣となった。近衛の大納言経忠が右大臣となった。西園寺の大納言実衡が内大臣に任じられた。
五月、近衛の前関白家平が薨去した。
六月、後宇多法皇が崩御された。享年五十八歳。
八月、北条惟貞が六波羅から鎌倉へ帰った。
九月、土岐頼貞・多治見国長らが天皇の密詔を受けて鎌倉を滅ぼさんと謀ったことが露顕したため、六波羅の範貞が軍兵を遣わして、頼貞・国長を討ち殺した。

In the third month of the third year [of Genkō, 1323], Ichijō Utsunori resigned as Kampaku (Imperial Regent). Kujō Fusazane became Kampaku.
In the fifth month, Minamoto no Michio resigned as Daijō-daijin (Grand Minister of State). The former Kampaku Takatsukasa Fuyuhira was reappointed as Minister.
In the first month of the first year of Shōchū [1324], the former Naidaijin (Minister of the Center) Sanjō Kimimochi passed away. He was forty-one years of age.
In the third month, there was an imperial visit (gyōkō) to Iwashimizu [Hachimangū Shrine]. In the fourth month, there was an imperial visit to Kamo [Shrine]. In the same month, Naidaijin Takatsukasa Noriyoshi was appointed Minister of the Left. Dainagon Konoe Tsunetada was appointed Minister of the Right. Dainagon Saionji Sanehira was appointed Naidaijin (Minister of the Center).
In the fifth month, the former Kampaku Konoe Iehira passed away.
In the sixth month, the Retired Emperor Go-Uda (in holy orders) passed away. He was fifty-eight years of age.
In the eighth month, Hōjō Koresada returned from Rokuhara to Kamakura.
In the ninth month, Toki Yorisada and Tajimi Kuninage and others, having received a secret imperial decree from the Emperor with the aim of destroying [the Kamakura shogunate], were exposed in their conspiracy. Norisada of Rokuhara dispatched troops and killed both Yorisada and Kuninage.
